Martell and I went to a childbirth class recently and discovered that making up things for imagery/relaxation purposes is not Martell's strong suit. No problem. We decided books would work. So the search is on. I'm looking for good happy books that are captivating from the get go. Any recommendations?

Do Calvin and Hobbs comic books count?
I'm always looking for a good book. I don't know what kind you like, but some that I like from different genres are: Hunger Games, The Measure of a Lady, Eragon series, These is My Words . . .
During labor pains? You wanna read a book? Well, I would go with super simple..good imagery in the Narnia chronicle and the stories are captivating. The rest of my pool come from children's literature, I highly recommend any Llama Llama books or Fancy Nancy.
I vote for coloring books... Or Diary of A Wimpy Kid (there are lots of pictures)
