Not quite crawling

Sally is trying really hard to crawl. We, as her parents, feel compelled to mock...er...help her from time to time. So we occasionally help her get her belly off the floor. This is one of my particular favorites.

She hasn't figured out how to coordinate her hand and foot movements at the same time as holding herself up so if we put her like this she just kinda stays there for a while.

I LOVE this stage--it's like the lights turn on in their minds and you can see the "real" them starting to peek out as they get their bodies under control. WAy to go SAlly! Now, just you wait until she starts running!

I particularly like the bunny feet in her jammies. Awesome.

She kind of looks like a bear cub.

She looks to me like she needs a big hug and a kiss from her Grandaunt Natalie.

She looks like she's ready to out run you soon.

Too cute! Bring her here and she can practice climbing stairs next!

No, No, No, Sally. To do a proper Downward Dog your arms must be further out in front and form a straight line with your back. Just relax that neck and let the head dangle between the arms...
