Sallyisms

I didn't have time yesterday to upload pictures and write a post, but I thought I'd put up some of the things Sally says. She is right at that stage where she is picking up words left and right, but she still requires a little translating. So here are the translations:

guin-guin = penguin
gwah = draw
gwah = rock (yeah, it is the same as draw)
daw = dog
daw = cat (differentiated from dog by a "meowmeowm" following)
duh = duck
quaqua = what duck says
ee = eat
o = piano
eeo-eeo = radio
saw = song
saeus = thaddeus
saeus = my camera
cheer = chair
cheerio = all cereal
bankt = blanket
bankok = blanket
bookah = book (a step up from here previous "booh")
poe = pillow
fen = friend

and my favorite:
Iooo = I love you.

I love it when I here her talk.
I'm beginning to understand, but your translations are helpful.

You forgot "fire" for pacifier :)

How funny, Bennett has some of the same ones! He just mastered saying Zoƫ's name (he used to say Doe-y) and loves to say it, even if she isn't in the room.

I can't believe she's talking! She's growing so much, the last time I saw her it was in August. Can't believe how much she's changed.

How fun that Sally is finding her words. She will be a master communicator in no time!

I can't stop laughing and smiling and being so glad you captured it. My kids are always begging to know their first words and how they said it and eek, I'm forgetting! She's brilliant, that Sally. BRILLIANT!
